The Logical Argument (Summary)
- All existing things have dependencies (temporal, spatial, compositional).
- Infinite regress provides no ground — an infinite chain of borrowed existence explains nothing.
- Circular causation also fails — a loop of dependencies grounds nothing.
- Therefore: a non-derivative, self-subsistent ground is logically required.
- The Container Principle: effects cannot exceed their total cause.
- Consciousness, Life, Love, Intelligence, and Will exist in the universe — therefore they must exist in what grounds it.
- These attributes are derived, not imported from tradition.
The Three-Level Framework
- Level 1 — Essence: The infinite, necessary ground. Unknowable. Source of everything.
- Level 2 — The Logos/Operations: Essence expressed relationally as Life, Consciousness, Love, Intelligence, Will. Distinct from but inseparable from Essence.
- Level 3 — Creation: Creatures derived from Essence, sustained within God's activity, genuinely other than God, microcosms of the Logos through structural correspondence.

Spekkens, Brukner, Schmid: quantum states are relational, not intrinsic properties of systems. Observer-independent facts do not exist at the foundational level of physics.
